Wow! I am the worst example of starting the new year off right. I fell asleep before midnight on New Year's Eve. I broke the majority of my New Year's resolutions on day one. I spent last night (day two) pinning Deployment, Homecoming, and Love stuff on my Pinterest board. Depressing! I believe today is day three and I'm not doing much better. I say all of this with a smile. I'm not doing as bad as it sounds BUT I imagined I would be moto Marine wife starting 2013. Opps! I'm delaying my new year until Monday. That's allowed, right?
The kids are out of school, we have company, we're adjusting from vacation, excuses, excuses. I promise Monday is my day! My free pass expires at 0800 on Monday. Then I will exercise, organize my house, spend time in the Word, learn conversational Spanish, and teach myself to play the guitar! Boredom should not be a problem.
Until Monday arrives, I think I will be doing a little of this...
...to jumpstart my healthier lifestyle of course!
No one says resolutions have to start on the 1st! You make em start when you want to!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Nikk! Start your resolutions when you are good and ready. :)
