I am grateful deployment is only temporary.
I am grateful my husband is not in a combat zone.
I am grateful we have the US Postal Service. Snail mail is better than nothing.
I am grateful for the rain. A change in weather is always good.
I am grateful for cooler temps. Hello, sweaters and jeans!
I am grateful for a neighborhood full of kids. Lots of energy to burn with tons of playmates.
I am grateful my kids willingly sold me all of their Halloween candy this week. (The sugar highs were trying my patience.)
I am grateful I got to enjoy one last seasonal Salted Caramel Mocha before our area Starbucks run out of sea salt. Or so the lady wants me to believe.
I am grateful for a weekly Bible Study group which encourages me to read the Bible.
I am grateful for the kids getting along tonight so I can have a little quiet time.
I am grateful God placed someone in my life who is moving to Japan so I can unload all my Japanese dictionaries and language books on her. I had a weird attachment to those books and couldn't just donate them.
I am grateful I finally had the desire and energy to start organizing the storage closet, for the hundredth time.
I am grateful my desire to hold on to things is weakening.
I am grateful for a weekend to chill at home.
I am grateful my husband's lack of communication gives me the opportunity to lead the conversation. Let's him know he is still a priority.
I am grateful tonight's gratitude journal was written right before I posted. I feel so much better!
