These words are becoming more frequent in my vocab. They best describe how I feel about my husband's training schedule and upcoming deployment. I've been doing the military wife thing for 13 years and it doesn't get easier.
I agree! I think it is getting harder. As our children get older his time away becomes more noticeable to them and they miss him more. His job is getting more stressful for him as he progresses up the ranks which makes it more stressful for us as a family.... i.e. more time at work and more working at home (pesky phone calls mid-sentence.. GRR!).
So, yes getting harder. I am just getting better at dealing with it all.
