I grew up going all the time, as we only lived a short drive away. Jake hasn't been since he was in 8th grade, and my 2 little ones have never been. So much history and amazingness, and being that my kids are children of a Marine, and their uncle is also a Marine - the Marine Corps museum is a must!Lori Careyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17880185884670531793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3557056041402699508.post-46487321644805004662017-07-15T11:14:23.845-07:002017-07-15T11:14:23.845-07:00So fun! I have that book, but haven't read it yet. Hope you are enjoying your weekend!Ashley @ A Cute Anglehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02142492663025989535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3557056041402699508.post-82637103579514718132017-07-14T14:45:44.887-07:002017-07-14T14:45:44.887-07:00I love DC! The American history museum is my absolute favorite, but I also loved the National Portrait Gallery. Probably super boring for kids, but when you study the paintings and look at the accessories that the subjects had placed in the paintings to represent them, it becomes super cool to see what they were proud of in their lives or wanted to be remembered for. Hope you have a fun weekend!A Gal Named Alhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05047959991505576988noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3557056041402699508.post-30214279951839893112017-07-14T12:12:51.384-07:002017-07-14T12:12:51.384-07:00Hooray for a trip to DC! I hadn't read that many books that were set in occupied France either, and it really opened up my eyes to how terrible the French had it during WWII.Ashley @ The Wandering Weekendershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16253908070346972965noreply@blogger.com
